COINS: The First
The birth of currency as fiscal authority.
The original title in Tales of MoDi Coins series
COINS: The First is a strategic board game for 3–6 players about managing a currency.
Players do not manage points or abstract resources. They manage circulation, taxation, and trade. Currencies rise, dominate, destabilise, or collapse depending on how they are used.
Core Experience
COINS creates a shared economic space where every decision has public consequences.
Trade must be negotiated. Prices respond to pressure. Authority is exercised through fiscal power. There are no special abilities, no bonuses, and no scripted events.
The narrative emerges from play.

Key Dynamics
Simple play
Complex strategies
Trade coins
Classic games usually ahve you tradde ressources but that "barter assumption" is plainly wrong and almost never occured thorugh history and certianly not with such Dominions.
Money-changers are as old as money and so to "buy from abroad", you first need to change your money.
Build
That's it !
No dice, no luck, just pure strategy.
Except? Construction cards draw which is random. Hence you can pay a premium to get the card you want.
Set and modify your taxes
Your fiscal policy influences how much miney you "tax away"
